Richard King of Llandudno Cons last week knocked in a very impressive 107 break to record the highest ever break in a single frame league match in the Aberconwy Snooker League. In the Llandudno Cons v Colwyn Bay Legion A match on Thursday 2nd November 2023 Richard played against Colin Gargan and quickly got into his stride with all the balls still on the table. He got the 15 reds with colours and unfortunately snookered himself on the yellow just before attempting what would have been a total clearance. The previous record was a 102 break by Ross Jones in 2013.

Richard also holds the record in the league for a competition break. He had an excellent total clearance break of 131 in a pairs match, partnered with Roger Stevens, when they went on to win the Pairs competition in 2011.
